Goodbye to Ms. Taylor

Today we say Happy Retirement to one of our PSC Library family. Ms. Bennie Taylor has been with the Library here at Philander Smith College for twelve years. She has been a dedicated member of the Library family and she will be greatly missed. However, we're happy that she can spend more time traveling and enjoying her free time.

Remembering Dr. Titus

The Library remembered the contributions Dr. Myer Titus made to Philander Smith College and the Little Rock community by creating a display in his honor. Dr. Titus was the 10th President of Philander Smith College and his efforts for moving the College forward will not be forgotten.

Freshman Outreach

On November 30, the D.W. Reynolds Library & Technology Center kept its doors open late to invite Freshmen to use our facilities for snacks, fellowship, and studying. We were happy to see many of our start students attend. The Librarians and Library Staff at the D.W. Reynolds Library and Technology Center would like to extend a hearty Happy Holidays to all members of the Philander Smith College community. We look forward to an exciting New Year!

World Book Night at PSC.

Monday, April 23rd, Ms. Ojezua and other members of the library gave students free books for the World Book Night campaign. World Book Night is a national initiative to give away half a million books in one day. The campaign hopes to get light readers more interested in literature. The D.W. Reynolds Library partnered with World Book Night to make sure our students were involved. Special thanks to Mr. Steed for bringing his students into the library.
Here are some pictures from the event.
